This is a copy of an email that I just sent out to everyone that is on my mailing list.
I'm posting it just in case some of you guys reading my blog might have gotten something similar from someone that you know in your email.
I don't know what it's about, but if I were you, I'd stay away from that link that's in that email.
It weirded me out because it's aimed at myspace, and it had my email address in it. I don't go to myspace for any reason, there are way too many perves, and posers over there.

They will in no way harm your PC and are simply a 'PA Stunt' to get people to join MySpace. Using the link will simply allow you to register with MySpace and automatically fill in your email.
What people should be looking out for is if the link is 'forged' and when you put your mouse over it, it displays a different address to the actual text. This could me malicious.
For instance, if you put your mouse over that link and it read:
myspace. freewebs. com [I killed that link Boo]
You would know this email was malicious and the link bluffed.
However, the emails currently circling are genuine and are simply for publicity.
So, if you aint interested in joining myspace, delete the email and/or add to your blocked senders list.

OK, I don't care if it is a valid myspace link or not, the disturbing fact is that those bastards, whoever they are, sent me that fricking shit

What people should look for is getting strange, and out of character, email like that from someone on their mail list.
How the fuck did those fuckers get not only my friends email address, but my email address from his mail list in the first fucking place?
That wasn't sent to me as an email saying; From: myspace.com.
I have enough smarts to know that if I click that fricking link it will tell those fricking perverts on myspace that me email address is a good address. The same thing goes for clicking the "Spam" button on that shit.
Those ass holes were smart enough to steal other peoples email addresses, that you know, and use them to send out their trash.
My only option was to deleat the damned thing. I couldn't put it on my ignore list because it is someone that I email from time to time.
So guys, if you get any of that shit, may I suggest that you just deleat it?
